The first Athletics Auckland event held at Sir Barry Curtis Park, East Tamaki, began under clear sunny skies after morning rain that made the course a good test of runners' fitness. More rain arrived in mid-afternoon, but it didn't diminish the enthusiasm or the performances posted by ACA's excellent representation in every grade.
