Do you want to run the Auckland or New York marathons for the Mental Health Foundation?
Hi ACA runners.
Here's something that could be of interest, from the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
The Foundation writes:
We are giving Kiwis the opportunity to run for us in the New York Marathon in 2018!
Also, the Auckland Marathon is coming up fast on October 29 and any of your runners are welcome to join the Mental Health Foundation team.
Join the Mental Health Foundation of NZ team and if you raise $1000, they’ll provide the entry fee, transport, great company, training tips, a free t-shirt, a race medal, a finishers' photo and refreshments after the event.
By fundraising for the Mental Health Foundation, you’ll help them achieve their goal of raising $100,000 to help the 1 in 5 Kiwis who will experience a mental illness this year.
Join the Mental Health Foundation of NZ on their adventure to New York to see the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Central Park in the flesh!
They have 10 spaces available for the New York Marathon in November 2018 – and this iconic marathon is one of the hardest in the world to get a ticket to. Get fit, run for the 1 in 5 Kiwis who will experience a mental illness this year, and finally tick The Big Apple off your bucket list.
